The Rudie Crew kicked off the night with some ska/reggae that had the crowd dancing right off the bat followed by the gypsy/cabaret style of Amour Obscur and a rousing set from The Cryptkeeper 5. Overall the night was an exciting success to fit a variety of musical tastes and to celebrate yet another musical victory for Tri-State Conspiracy. Their album is available now on Itunes and CDBaby.
After years of following this band across the tri-state area, I am pleased to see how much they have grown together musically and technically over the years. They never cease to impress me and I have never brought anyone to see them who hasn't excitedly come back for more. I wish these amazing artists the best with their new album and in all their future endeavors... which I hope there will be many more of. They have kept the heart of the scene that I remember loving so much growing up alive in every up-strum and brass instrument on that stage. Their fans are loyal, amazing people, who are always happy to dance with a stranger and make a new friend. I have a deep respect and admiration for these men and am thankful for many years of musical celebration.
